eBook Sales Have Surpassed Hardcovers in Q1 2012
ByeBook sales have been on the rise thanks to growing segments like Young Adult Fiction, where we have seen growth by over 233%. Digital sales are doing very well and they have finally surpassed hardcover prints! In the first quarter of 2012 hardcover books accounted for $229 million dollars in sales whereas ebooks brought in a whopping $282 million dollars.
The Association of American Publishers releases new figures every quarter from over 1,189 different publishers and compiles annual reports.
