Janet Evanovich and Kathryn Stockett Sell over a Million Kindle eBooks

By

kindle million seller

Janet Evanovich and Kathryn Stockett have just joined the exclusive club on Amazon of those that have sold over a million ebooks! The Kindle million-seller club counts many prestigious writers such as James Patterson, Nora Roberts, and more!

Kathryn Stockett, unlike many of the other authors who are listed in the million-seller club, has only written one book, The Help. Her first novel had a hard time originally finding a publisher and finally made it to print. The book was recently adapted to a movie in theaters and is doing quite well. Many of the people who had no idea about the book have recently purchased it, which catapulted her book sales even further. The Help is also a perennial favorite in many start-up bookclubs.

Janet Evanovich has written close to 40 books over the years and is best known for the The Stephanie Plum series of novels. Her most recent book Smokin’ Seventeen is doing well and many people are looking forward to her new book Explosive Eighteen on November 22nd 2011.

Janet has a large body of work which helped her reach the milestone in Amazon sales. She joins other writers who have written a ton of books such as James Patterson, Lee Child, and Michael Connelly. Other members of the club include Nora Roberts, Charlaine Harris, Steig Larsson, Suzzanne Collins, and John Locke.

its good to see that authors are profiting from e-book sales.. i feel like people these days don’t frequent bookstores as often as I did 10 years ago
