The makers of the same E-Ink screens found in Kindles, Sony and Nooks called E-Ink Holdings is setting up a huge game changer in the E-Reader industry with Color E-Ink.
This new technology well be employed towards the end of the year. The first major company to announce new products is China based Hanvon. They promise to offer 2 different touch screen devices. One will be a capacitive multi-touch panel that the ipad generation will be able to feel right at home using, and the second device will be more of a digital pen interface that will allow you to click on things manually. It will allow you to make annotations and draw using custom artist tools.
One of the upgrades they are touting is better response times and page turn speed increases.
