Amazon Buys KindleAir.com, Could Lead to Apple-esque Kindle Air
By
Amazon has recently made some domain purchases, among which is KindleAir.com. Now this has led some to speculate if Amazon is also thinking along the same lines as Apple that had first started the ‘Air’ thing with its MacBook Air. Or some believe it might be an indication of Amazon readying an ‘Air’ act by launching a super slim and light new Kindle. We already know there are at least 2 new Kindle e-readers in the pipeline with one for the budget segment aimed primarily at students while the other is likely to be touchscreen based.
Among the other domains Amazon has snapped up include: KindleSocialNetwork.com and KindleSocialNetworking.com. We have already discussed a bit about Amazon and its social networking idea.
The other domains that also featured in Amazon’s shopping list are AmazonElastiCache.org and AWSElastiCache.org.
Readers are free to speculate what these could lead to.
