Kobo suspends selling eBooks via iOS

By

Kobo is feeling the might of the new Apple regulations on its iOS platform and the company officially announced it will no longer be selling ebooks via its Kobo application for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

In the past you could make ebook purchased directly from the Kobo application. Now the only way you can purchase books is accessing Kobo.com via the Safari web browser. When you purchase books they will automatically be synced to  your account and readable via the Kobo application.

Of course if you use Android, Blackberry or the PC you can continue to make book purchases directly from Kobo.
