Pocket Star eBook Giveaway: Yuletide Treasure

By

Pocket Star is hosting a giveaway for GoodeReader’s fans of bestselling author Andrea Kane’s holiday novella, Yuletide Treasure. The New York Times bestselling author of romance and suspense novels, known for thrillers such as The Girl Who Disappeared Twice and The Line Between Here and Gone, has crafted a feel-good short ebook set in Victorian England.

While the lines between romance and thrillers might be hard for some authors to cross, Kane has written ten psychological thrillers and fourteen historical romance novels. Despite the unlikely-sounding combination, Kane’s highly popular novels featuring the fictional Forensic Instincts team has gained a significant following among thriller fans. In her holiday novella, Kane weaves an almost equally suspenseful tale of a nobleman with a mysteriously shady reputation who seeks a wife for the sheer prospect of keeping her prisoner on his estate and away from the prying eyes of the local villagers.

Yuletide Treasure goes on sale on Tuesday, but Pocket Star is making three copies available free for GoodeReader. In order to be eligible to win one of three codes for a free copy of this title, leave a valid email address in the comments section below or simply retweet the article about this giveaway from a valid Twitter account.

is a young-adult author and a teacher in a correctional facility. She does not have a single textbook in her classroom. With the top-of-the-line technology at her disposal and the low reading ability of many of her students, there’s no need for standard paper texts. Instead she relies on e-readers, iPads, desktop PCs, Polycom video conferencing equipment for virtual field trips, live streaming for science demonstrations, and text-to-speech read-aloud software to teach English and science. Within the next ten years, public school classrooms across the country are going to look a lot more like Mercy’s classroom because the educational possibilities with these kinds of technologies are limitless.
