Amazon Kindle Fire to reach Australia in New Year
ByThe Kindle Fire is all set to embark on a journey that will take it to Australia in the new year, making it only the second country in the world to be able to play host to the second most hottest tablet after the iPad right now. We have already come across reports, though unconfirmed of Amazon making available its Kindle Fire in the UK sometime in January.
But till then, Amazon is restricting the sale of its Kindle Fire only in the US region as the demand is expected to be too high to allow for venturing outside without causing back logs in the domestic market. Particularly during the holiday season when demand for the tablet is expected to shoot through the roof. Its only after the demand at home has depleted to an extent that Amazon plans to spread sales of the Kindle Fire to other regions of Europe where people are really eager for the tablet device.
Further, there are certain features on the tablet that is presently only available for US based users. The App store too is restricted to the US as of now. Surely, Amazon will have to make necessary changes before it can allow the Kindle Fire to heat up other markets worldwide.
