BlackBerry PlayBook Sold Out on BestBuy Site and Refurbs Offered for $149

BestBuy may have been offering the base PlayBook for $199 for a while now but has stopped taking further orders for the same anymore. This is mainly due to the fact that the Cyber Monday and Black Friday orders depleted the existing stock and they are rushing to get more units in time for the holidays.

Meanwhile, if you thought the PlayBook priced at $199 is quite affordable, well, RIM has sweetened the deal even more by introducing the PlayBook at even cheaper rates. So on offer now are refurbished versions of the 7 inch tablet that cost upward of $150. That is the price that will fetch the base PlayBook version with 16 GB of memory. Similarly, the 32 and 64 GB versions of the reburbished PlayBook tablet PCs will set one back by $170 and $200 respectively.

That’s not all for also on offer is the PlayBook at the famous TouchPad price of $99. However, this is exclusively for RIM employees and is applicable to the base 16 GB version. The same for the 32 and 64 GB versions of the PlayBook will cost $149 and $199 respectively.
