BlackBerry PlayBook to cost $600, slated for April 10 market debut
By
Research in Motion is yet to come clean with its pricing and availability details of the PlayBook tablet. There is some information coming in from BGR indicating the 7 inch tablet will be hitting markets in the US on the 10th of April. For the rest of the world, the wait is going to stretch until the second quarter.
Right now, at least the retailer Mobile City is already accepting pre orders for the PlayBook for a price of $599.99. However, this particular version of the PlayBook is going to be the Wi-Fi only version with no mention of either or 3G or 4G coming.
Meanwhile, in another interesting development, the little known company Negri Electronics is also accepting pre-orders for an unlocked 4G enabled version of the PlayBook for $798.50.
A few words of confirmation from the company will surely do a lot of good to clear all the confusion.
