How about a 9 inch Tegra 3 tablet with 16 GB of storage and Android 4.0 ICS on-board for $299? The Lenovo IdeaPad S2109 is a culmination of all the above and is primarily available at Best Buy locations in North America.
Other specifications of the A2109 include a 1 GB RAM, front (1.3 VGA) and rear (3 megapixel) cameras, along with the standard microSD card slot for memory expansion. The tablet is also sleek in design with an overall thickness of just half an inch. The number of pixels is also a respectable 1280 x 800, which may not be class leading, but can be considered quite adequate.
While the specifications are well rounded, the pricing can be considered the icing on the cake. If you compare it against the Google Nexus 7 and pay an extra $50.00, the Lenovo S2109 package is quite appealing. It has a bigger display, micro SD card support, twin cameras, and an HDMI slot. One of the drawbacks on this new tablet is the Jellybean factor. Lenovo said it will receive an update in the next few months, so this may be more appealing towards the holidays.
