Samsung Galaxy Pad caught testing

By

The Galaxy Pad slate PC from Samsung Electronics was recently caught undergoing live testing in Sydney, which can be an indication of good things to come from the South Korean electronics major. The Galaxy Pad is already creating ripples in the 7 inch tablet PC segment and is turning out to be one of the most eagerly awaited tablets.

Meanwhile some specs of the upcoming tablet did come out in the public realm so that we now know it’s the 1GHz Hummingbird processor that the tablet is built around and it comes loaded with the latest version of the Android OS… that is, the 2.2 Froyo version. The tablet will also have a 3.2-megapixel webcam at the rear while a QVGA 320 x 240 pixel camera will be there on the front for video conferencing.

So it’s all the right chords that the Galaxy Pad has struck so far, and what remains to be seen is whether the tablet turns out to be as good as it seems.
