Txtr upgrades their Android App to version 4.0

By

txtr storeTxtr recently upgraded their all in one application for reading and shopping for books today via the Android Market. This enhancement brings a myriad of new features such as; graphical bookshelf, channels with banner graphics and new shopping features!

Txtr continues to provide the German market with the definitive reading application via Android. They currently have over 60,000 ebooks in German and 400,000 in English. All you need to get going with this application for the first time is an Android 1.6 or higher.

One of the best upgrades was to the shop to purchase electronic books. You can now get more refined searches when looking for new books to buy. Browse featured books, new releases or bestsellers. You can even refine your searches even more with Vampire and Paranormal or Thrillers. Not sure if your random find may be a good one? You can now preview books in real time.

The Txtr app has been well known for its book shelf view. Not only are books purchased from the store listed there, but you can upload your own books right the shelf. This is why the app continues to dominate because the company knows people like to load in their own books found on the internet. The bookshelf is enhanced to create a virtual, visual, bookshelf on their Android phone or tablet. It also adds the option to sort books by title, author, or recently read – useful for larger libraries. As in previous versions, users can view information about books in their library and search for books. An SD card can be used to store content.
