Xiant Mobile Brings Microsoft Exchange eMail to the Kindle Fire

By

Xiant Mobile is a new email client application for the Amazon Kindle Fire. It brings a wellspring of user friendly options that prove it surpasses the default email client on Amazon’s first tablet.

One of the great aspects of Xiant mobile is that it has support for Exchange, Gmail, IMAP Gmail, Gmail for Businesses, and POP3. It also has better contact handling. Xiant integrates contact information from Gmail and Microsoft Exchange accounts to your Kindle Fire’s Contacts app. Xiant Mobile automatically recognizes your contacts. Touch any highlighted name to learn more about your contacts, or to add them to your Kindle Fire Contacts app. The main selling point is that it is fairly easy to setup your email accounts. Have a Gmail or a G-Apps for My Domain account? Just punch in your name and password, authorize with Google (via OAUTH), and you’re good to go.

“The Kindle Fire is an amazing device packed with great software, but the default email client just isn’t up to snuff. It doesn’t support Microsoft Exchange, setup is difficult, and it only supports one account. We saw an opportunity to significantly improve the email experience in the Kindle Fire,” said Chris Purcell, Vice President of Technology, Vulcan, Inc. “Xiant Mobile is not an ordinary email client. We developed entirely new features that make dealingwith your email interesting again, and more rewarding. We think that a smarter email client is the key to helping you be more productive — and to reclaiming your inbox.”
