Hey Guys, almost new member here. I started reading the news on Good eReader a couple of months ago and tune in at least twice a day. I am totally fascinated with tablets. I really want one and most likely get one in the next few months.
However, my biggest interest in the whole ebook universe is that I have written a novel and am in the process of making an ebook of it. The state of it so far is that it is 33 chapters and all 33 are pdf's. I used adobe indesign to format the book and then exported to pdf. Now I have to figure out how to make it a book with a TOC, something I am working on now.
I would really like to have a place to talk about all the issues of bringing an ebook to market. Don't know if this is the place or not.
One issue I am very interested in now has to do with the 7 inch tablets like the galaxy tab. Does anyone know the actual viewable width of the screen? I am not sure when you see the specs they are talking about a diagonial diamension or not.
Reason being I would like my pdf to open and be read without having to scroll side to side and it seems like the 7 inch size is going to very popular.
Thanks for any help.
