Hi, I'm Terra. Been a Nook owner for the last 6 months or so.
Still trying to figure out the best way to search for ebooks I'm looking for. Any suggestions? I don't want to make a request if the book is already here on the site. Just don't have time to search 9 pages of suggestions with 2 year old twins. Thanks!

I find it best to use one word in the search. Pick out the most uncommon word from the author's name or title. If you use more than one word, you can get pages of results that have one or more of the words you are searching some where in the post.

I am with Sharmac on this one-- 1 word search with the most uncommon word/name is how I do it on this search engine. Quotes don't seem to make a difference and adding more than one word seems to bring up either/or not using both.... We have asked for different search parameters and they are working on it... so for now- I do the above too!

Click that little link "Advanced Search"
Put the one or two key words into the field, select "Titles only"... and then Search Now. This will pare down the results a bit.
