I need college level students (any academic level) that use e-reading devices to respond to a research survey. I will send a $10 Amazon gift card for survey completion. Please read the following recruitment message to see if you meet the criteria:
There are many e-reader choices available today and identifying the features and functions that are most important to students is an important area of research. I am a doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University, and am conducting a research study on the use of e-readers by students in higher education. I would greatly appreciate your participation in a brief survey questionnaire to explore how e-readers are used in academic settings and the features that are most important to students. As a token of appreciation for your time and participation, I am offering a $10 electronic gift card to Amazon.com to the first 50 respondents that complete the survey.
The survey questionnaire will not ask for any identifying information. In order to participate, you must meet 3 criteria:
1. You are a current user of any handheld dedicated e-reader device and use it for reading academic texts and literature. Any e-reader device is acceptable, including the Apple iPad. Laptops and computers are not considered dedicated reading devices.
2. You are currently enrolled as a student at any higher education institution, either part time or full time. Undergraduate or graduate level study is equally acceptable.
3. You are at least 18 years of age
The survey questionnaire will only take 15-20 minutes of your time. Your participation is greatly appreciated, and will contribute to further understanding about how e-readers can best support the reading needs of students.
