I think we should start a book club!

I was checking out the navigation of the site today and discovered groups, and thought, damn we should make one!

Below the Main Navigation bar, that says Forum, Blog, Web site, whats new, etc. Below that are smaller ones thay say Newposts, private messages, faq, community as well.

Under Community you can select Group if you go there, that is our Users Group Page. I have setup a Bookclub page, in which anyone can join.

Here is my idea for the first one, we pick a book every month, a few of us can decide what one, then, we will make that book downloadable for all within the groups room, allow a few weeks for a read, then we talk about it! I for one, have never done a book club before, but i think it would be allot of fun to discuss charatcers, and plot development and stuff like that.

Feel free to join it if you are keen on making a fun book reading scene.

Hey guys check out the front page of the forum. The admins, YEAH ADMINS!!!!!!!!!!!:) , added a new folder for those that would want to start or join a book club. I would start a new thread to start a club but I just started the last book in a trilogy. But just look below the section for requests and you should see a folder for book clubs.

I'm not. I think the purpose (mine atleast) of being here is to discover new books and new authors. If we all start a book club, there goes the variety that each of us could give each other.

BUT... if you guys are starting one, we might as well make it into something official. A sort of discussion thread for every book read by the club. What do you think?
