Hello,

I have learned some really good information so far by reading several posts--thanks very much. I am thinking of going with the Kobo, but my question applies to all e readers: Is it possible to search for terms in your e reader, then have the e reader display the results based on, say frequency?

Also, how does it work with end notes? Is it a fairly simple process or do you need to "scroll" all the way back to read them?

I would really take a look at the Entourage Edge, it is developed for student/academics. Has dual screens, 1 for e-ink to read, and 1 full color touch screen running google android, its a great device and sounds like if you want to to research based stuff, this one is a pure win.
