I broke it! *GASP!*

Well, at least I think I broke it. It did fall off the bathroom counter, onto the scale, but it was in its case, with the cover closed.

However, I have this horrible "smear-like" section in the lower left of the reading pane that looks like massive scratches on the glass (no, it isn't scratches, as I have a screen protector on it, as well).

On the bright side, I bought the extra coverage, so if I did break it, I get a new one. If it is some sort of internal issue, it's covered anyway. My new one is already on its way (I called B&N last night), so I should be fine in a day or two. *sniff*

Oh my!...sure glad you bought the warranty thingie! You can always just sleep 24 hrs a day till you get your new one then you can read 24/7 for awhile!

My "new" (certified refurbished) Nook has arrived, and is charging now.
Tomorrow, I'll have to go jack the WiFi of our local Starbucks to register it, drop my *sob* broken one at the UPS shipper, and then install my itty bitty library chip in it (16 Gig SD card), and I'll be back to normal... yeah, well, back to reading easily, anyway.

So glad you r new "baby" got to you so quickly!!! I dropped my first Kindle and had the same thing happen to the screen. I went NUTS waiting for my new Kindle 2 to get here! Now, get to reading, you have a coupkle of days to make up for! lol
