Good news for Canadians, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available at Rogers! You can now buy the device in the store or online, which means just after the Verizon launch in the USA, Canadians can now get their hands on this little dandy.
You can get your hands on a non-contract unit for around $674.00 or go with a 3 year plan and get a discount, bringing the cost to $539.99.
There are some great benefits to Canadians with the latest offering from Samsung. If you have a WiFi enabled device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab can act as mobile hotspot for up to 5 devices using the mobile AP (access point) feature. Also, you can tether the Tab to a laptop using a USB cable.
The Galaxy Tab features a vivid 7-inch touch screen, expandable memory up to 32GB, the ability to enjoy Flash web content, plus a built-in dual camera, e-reader, and GPS navigation. With the Android 2.2 OS, you also have access to integrated Google Mobile services and thousands of apps on the Android Market.
Although the UK and European versions of the Tab allows voice calling, the Canadian version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab sadly does not.
You can now purchase this unit directly online from Rogers, or via their retail partners. Look for our hands on review of this unit and unboxing videos in the next day.
