Trouble with Nook Color USB

I was downloading library books last night, and I had to plug in the USB cord to transfer them to my Nook Color. When I originally charged the nook, I didn't notice anything but now whenever I have to insert the USB into the nook (not the charger or computer side), it's REALLY hard for me to get it in there. It's almost like it doesn't fit, and I have to really look at it and fiddle with it - I don't want to push too hard but shouldn't it just go right in? is this something I should mention/bring up to best buy where it was purchased (enough for me to take it into the store)?or to B&N? or is this normal?

Sometimes its easy for the little port inside the nook usb to get bent, like with a usb when you put it in, there is a small metal output inside the nooks usb port, sometimes with lots of use, this can be pushed up or down. You could simply get a micro flathead screw driver and glently move it back into the center, if it has been pushed up or down.
