Calibre and Windows 7

Hi,
I recently bought a new computer and download and installed the latest version of Calibre on it. When I tried to update my ebooks from Calibre to my Color nook, Calibre doesn't recognise the nook, and my computer doesn't recognise it either, as removeable storage.
I tried to search to see if anyone else has had the same problem before I posted.
Any advise will be appreciated.

I got my computer to recognise m Nook finally. Alot of searching and a few fresh starts!!
