Default Reading comics on Libre color

I tried a couple of pdf comics and the images are good, but the print is small.

I zoomed in at 200% in order to read the words better. That worked out well, but I could not just move on to the next page that way. In fact there was a significant stalling when i tried to pull up the magnifier to return to normal and moved forward to the next page. It makes is terrible inconvenient that way. Moves way to slow that way.

Is the format (pdf) the problem? Any ideas and help is appreciated.

    thanks.

PDF is essentially a form of printing, so the resulting file is a digitized version of a printed page. Scaling the images would be difficult, to say the least. So while PDF text files can, through some magic, be "reflowed", PDF images (which is essentially what a comic is), can't.
