Kobo Touch Power Off?

I just purchased and loaded up my Kobo Touch but was wondering if the power off screen showing the square happy face always stays on when you shut e reader off, I'm concerned about it burning impression into the screen that I've seen happen with computer screens.

I have the "sleep" time set at 5 min and the "power off" is also set for the same yet an hour or so later my screen still shows the happy face and underneath it says" Powered Off". Thanks in advance.
