Update file may be: - Downloaded onto your PC and then transferred to SD card - Downloaded to your Pandigital Novel then copied to PC via for USB for SD card transfer NOTE: File must be copied to the SD card in the original, zipped format.

Do not unzip prior to loading on your SD card. To update your Pandigital Novel’s Firmware: 1) Power down your Pandigital Novel. 2) Insert the SD card containing the update file into the SD card slot. 3) Press POWER and VOL+ simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds. 4) Your Pandigital Novel will begin the update process automatically. You should see the Pandigital Novel welcome screen followed by an upgrade progress indicator. Your Pandigital Novel will automatically reboot once the update is complete.

Help!!! I purchased two white Pandigital novel ereaders and they are performing differently. I call Pandigital and they were not helpful.

One is firmware sh20_20110302_k_pd_inx7e_eng_6410POP I can't get good android apps on it. I did purchase a 4gb card for it. Can anyone help?

The other one is a pain. It is firmware sld20_20110610_B_PD_INX7E_ENG_6410POP. It does not have the Barnes and Noble app so I can't get books on it for my daughter. It just has the panreader and I hate it. I tried to update the firmware and is said error while reading....error message system. I can't get apps to load. Can anyone help with this?

I am not familiar with ereaders and what I've read made it sound like with was a great think for the kids...to have apps, access the internet and read books. I'm getting frustrated with them and there is so much information out there about hacking, rooting, etc. that I don't know what to do next. Pandigital is not being helpful either.
