If you want to learn more about the device you want to purchase or if you have already received it, Good e-Reader has just launched a new quick start guide and user manual section on the website. Every e-reader that is available for sale on the online store has a digital guide available to download for free. They are in PDF and can be accessed on your MAC/PC or e-reader.
When you place your order or to ship out your order, Good e-Reader requires your phone number. This is because Canada Post, FEDEX, DHL or EMS needs a contact number to call you if your package is going to be late or to contact you.
During the checkout process please include a contact number and area code where the shipping company may contact you. If you have already placed your order and do not enter a phone number, please call us toll-free at 1-833- 373-2337 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
When you have placed an order with the Good e-Reader Store, you can track the shipment process in the "My Account" section. When a tracking number has been generated for you order, this information will be displayed. Customers should also receive an automatic notification via email or SMS. If you have paid via PayPal, the tracking information should be attached to your order and Paypal will send the out an additional notification.
The attachment of tracking numbers may vary, depending on stock availability.
Good e-Reader ships our products to almost every country in the world. We believe everyone should have equal access to e-readers and tablets.
Good e-Reader ships a fair amount of products overseas. A select number of products will be shipped from Japan, China, USA and Hong Kong. Shipping from these countries to addresses outside of these countries will sometimes result in taxes. When a product enters your country, from outside the country, customs and duty will have to be paid. Good e-Reader is not responsible for customs and duty, nor do we collect customs and duty or get a cut of the money you pay in taxes.
The reality of purchasing products from a different country is that you will have to pay taxes and duty. The amount that you will pay will dependant on the e-reader that you purchase. Something that does not cost very much, will not result in much tax or duty, whereas a $1,500 product might cost a little bit more.
Taxes and Duty are conducted once the product arrives in your home country, by your government and not Good e-Reader. We are not responsible for your countries customs and duty, nor do we collect it on your behalf.
Good e-Reader ships the vast majority of products from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Canada Post is our shipping carrier of choice and shipping is affordable within Canada and to the United States.
A select number of products will be shipped from our offices in Taiwan, Japan or China, or sometimes directly from the USA. All products shipped from international markets will be shipped via DHL or another well known carrier.
If you find the shipping fees too expensive in Canada or the USA, please send us an email and we might be able to slightly lower them on a case by case basis. This depends on the weight of the box and the size and other requirements.
We recommend that if you are trying to get something shipped to you for the holiday season to have your orders placed before December 16th 2018. If you place your order between December 17th and December 22nd, we recommend to choose the Expedited shipping option.
Most of the e-readers that we sell are mailed out from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. Once your order has been verified and payment has been accepted Good e-Reader normally sends out the product within a few days. If a product is being sent directly from the manufacturer, it could sometimes take up to two weeks.
