If you have ever read a book review on Amazon, chances are it was penned by Harriet Klausner. During her tenor she wrote a staggering 31,000 book reviews, often 3 paragraphs in length that quickly encapsulated the premise of the book and her thoughts. She passed away on October 15th, at age 63.
Harriet’s Amazon bio claimed she read two books a day, and said, “I was an acquisitions librarian in Pennsylvania and wrote a monthly review column of recommended reads. I found I liked reviewing and went on to freelance after my son was born.”
One of the most interesting things about Harriet is that she never left a negative review, which endeared her to authors all over the world.
