Would have been nice if this had included the creator of the niche, iDoLVine http://idolvine.com. They hold the patent on remote signing, since the LongPen days (6 years or more). Their platform is rolling out in a more measured way, in beta now, because it is a lot more sophisticated on the technology, in that they replicate not only the signing, but an authentic autograph (their technology measures pen weight, angle, etc, making it a true collector autograph. And they’ve tied this to live-streamed face-to-face meetings by video during the signing, so, just like at a book signing in a store, you meet the author — which after all, is most of the point of getting a book signed.
