Spotify Audiobooks grows their Fantasy, and Romance genres
Spotify Audiobooks is one of the world's most popular audiobook platforms. It has been focused on international expansion. However, Spotify is continuing to grow its catalog with a new deal with Podium Entertainment, one of the largest audiobook publishers in the world and an industry leader in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Romance genres. They have around 1,000 titles and will be available today.
Podium's catalog includes a few notable audiobooks, including Callie Hart’s #1 best-selling audiobook Quicksilver and Carissa Broadbent's BookTok favourite The Serpent and the Wings of Night. However, there is so much more, and Spotify fans have even more options.
They also signed a minor deal with Crooked Lane Books / Alcove Press, a leading publisher spanning commercial fiction genres and select nonfiction. Under the Crooked Lane partnership, Spotify Audiobooks, their in-house audiobook publishing imprint—will produce and publish titles from Crooked Lane & Alcove’s frontlist catalogues beginning March 2025. Titles will be distributed widely on Spotify via Spotify’s Audiobooks in Premium offering and 30+ other digital retail and library channels.
