Good e-Reader reserves the right, in rare cases, to ask for identification. The average order will not need this type of verification. The orders that would need photo identification are large orders, bulk orders, orders from conflict/war zones. Sometimes our credit card processor (Stripe) sends us an email, stating that a specific order needs manual verification. This could occur for a couple of reasons, an order can originate in an area where fraud is a common occurrence or the order failed the CV code a couple of times.
Identification is a very rare occurrence, we only ask our customers to provide this level of detail, only 4 or 5 times a year, out of thousands of orders. Good e-Reader does not store your personal identification on the servers or in a users account dashboard. The upload form is done via an ultra secure SSL, with our company name listed on the certificate.
What type of ID does Good e-Reader need? Drivers License, government issued ID card, or a credit card is normally what we accept. The exact piece of ID will very from person to person. If you are reading this form, it is because someone from the billing department or store manager has asked you to provide a specific piece of ID.
The upload form is secured via SSL and the file is hashed. Once verified, the data is destroyed. Thank you for your patience and your order.
