Amazon has plenty of loyal customers that have been buying and using Kindle e-readers for a very long time. The company knows their strongest asset is their existing base of users and they want your feedback on how to improve their products. If you would like to suggest new hardware or software related features you can send them an email to kindle-feedback@amazon.com
The Kindle feedback email address has been in operation for years. They used to promote it on the screensaver of older e-readers but for the last three years they have hardly been promoting it. Low level customer service representatives filter through the email, discarding spam and keeping track of the best ideas. The normally send it out to their overseer and it gets dispatched to the folks running the Kindle division and eventually to LAB126 where all of the firmware updates and new hardware gets developed.
If you had a Kindle related idea on how they could improve upon their e-readers, tablets or apps, what would it be?
