Amazon must have found some Kindle Oasis models because they are selling new ones on their website in the United States. Over the past couple of days, the 32GB and 8GB models were available at full retail prices. However, due to the demand, the 32GB model was sold out and only the 8GB variant remains.
If the 8GB model does not tickle your fancy, the international versions of the Kindle Oasis are still available in the United States, but it is shipped to other countries. The 8GB International Kindle Oasis is only $135, and the 32GB Kindle Oasis with 4G LTE is only $175, which is half off.
The Kindle Oasis 3 is still receiving firmware updates, which keeps it current with the latest software. It is the only Kindle currently available with page-turn buttons. However, an Amazon executive told Good e-Reader that the company would no longer make e-readers with physical buttons, as its customers prefer touchscreens.
