Here is your chance to snag up two Kindle books from Amazon for free. The only prerequisite is that you need to be a Prime member. The e-books are available via the Amazon First Reads program which already offers free downloads every month. However, while it usually is a single e-book that is offered for free every month, Amazon is generous enough to offer two e-books this month from the First Reads program.
To avail of the offer, you will have to go to the First Reads page which lists out the titles that are available for the month. Select the title that appeals to you and click on the ‘Shop Now’ button. The offer is applicable when you access the First Reads page via an internet browser. The offer won’t show on the Amazon or the Kindle application. So, make sure you aren’t redirected to the app when you click on the Shop Now button.
Also, refrain from clicking on the ‘Pre-order for…’ button. Doing so will take you to a page where you will have to purchase the book in order to download the same. Rather, you will have to click on the ‘Read for Free’ or the ‘Buy Now with 1-Click’ button. After you have done this, the title is going to be transferred directly to the Kindle device linked to the Amazon account. That said, the e-books can be read on any device using the Kindle app.
Just in case you aren’t acquainted with Amazon First Reads, it is a program wherein Prime members have early access to new e-book titles. The e-books span across genres and are curated by the First Reads editors. While Prime members can download the title completely free, those who aren’t Prime members get the same at a discounted rate.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
