Amazon First Reads is a program that offers customers early access to new books across popular genres. Every month, customers can choose one of the Kindle books selected by our editors for free for Amazon Prime members. Users can choose one book from a list every month, which is theirs to keep forever. First Reads can be read on the Kindle e-reader, Fire Tablets, or the Kindle app for iOS and Android.
The First Reads book list has just been updated for February 2025. Various genres are represented, so there is something for everyone. The vast majority of titles are not from major publishers but Amazon’s own publishing imprints.
