There will likely never be another BlackBerry smartphone again, but the only thing that is the spiritual successor is a company called Unihertz. They have been making smartphones with keyboards for several years, and their latest product, the Unihertz Titan 2, might just be what you’re looking for.
The company will launch a Kickstarter campaign on June 2, 2025. There are few details available about the tech specs, including the version of Android it runs on, and battery life. However, the industrial design is similar to that of the BlackBerry Passport.
There are many people who do not like typing on a touchscreen to write emails or text messages with friends. It is far easier to type on a physical keyboard. The Titan 2 would solve this issue for those in the business crowd who need a mobile device. There is still a small contingent of people who continue to use the Blackberry KeyTwo as their daily driver, but it is getting long in the tooth.
