Guess which is the world’s slimmest e-reader. Chances are that you might blurt out a Kindle or the Nook simply because these sell more than anything other e-book reader out there. Or perhaps you aren’t too cared about their thickness simply because they already are slim enough to not to bother you much about their overall thickness. As things stand now, almost all the latest e-readers have reached the stage of being convenient and comfortable enough to the extent of nobody being too cared of that. But then, here is one company for which the slimness of the e-reader does matter and is willing to push the envelope further.
Its the Bookeen Orizon e-book reader and at just 0.29-inches, its the slimmest out there. Also, the Orizon e-book reader is not just about a slim form factor as there are quite a few other facts associated with the device that can make it create sales chart history. Targeted at the 6 inch category of e-readers, the Orizon e-reader features a SiPix ePaper display having a resolution of 600 x 800 pixels. Internal memory stands at 2 GB while there also is an SD Card slot to further expand storage options up to 8 GB at a time. Then the Orizon is also reported to be compliant with the Adobe ePUB format and will also have access to Google Books alsong with other online e-books sources as well.
The Orizon has just got through the FCC and is priced at $249 a piece for the two color options of Black and White that the e-reader is available in.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
