Amazon Prime Book Box is a new platform where a two 2 hardcover books or 4 board books are mailed out to you each month. The primary focus on the boxes are children and there are a few age groups to ensure that you are getting appropriate reading material.
When Prime Box launches later this year, parents will be able to select what books they want from a curated list that changes monthly. If there is no time to select what books you want, Amazon editors will surprise you a bunch of books.
This program is only available for Prime members living in the United States and each box costs $22. One of the big selling points is that you will save 35% off the list price, so you will save money if you frequently buy books for them.
It remains to be seen if Amazon will only only aim this service at children or if they will eventually launch a young adult or adult option as well.
