Here we are at week two of our digital best-seller list, and already I’m tweaking it a bit.

As seems to be typical for comiXology, all but one of the comics on the top ten list were new releases. The exception is Multiple Warheads, which may have gotten a boost because comiXology put all of creator Brandon Graham’s work on sale this weekend.
ComiXology doesn’t just have a top ten list; their top sellers list has 294 comics on it this week. Naturally, I was curious to see what was the worst selling comic on comiXology’s best-sellers list. That would be Captain America vol. 6 #7, which came out in January 2012—I’d say it’s selling remarkably well for a comic that old, actually.

It looks like Nook users aren’t big spenders: All the comics on this list are free except for Injustice: Gods Among Us and The Walking Dead. That doesn’t mean the Nook crowd are cheaper than users of other tablets, though—Amazon has a different list for its most popular free books.

Like the Amazon list, this has a couple of older titles—Superman: Earth One is almost a year old, and we have the first issues of both My Little Pony and Injustice: Gods Among Us.
There’s quite a mix of formats and genres on these lists, but the one thing that is consistent across all of them is the popularity of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Perhaps a 99-cent weekly comic really is the way to go.
