Audm is brand new company that hires professional narrators to read longform journalism from all over the internet. The company has a Facebook Page that posts a few of the articles they have converted to audio and the vast majority are hosted on SoundCloud. They also have an iPhone app that you can use to listen to their complete library of content, but sadly they do not have an Android app.
The iPhone app gives you a 24 hour free trial so you can get a sense if this service is right for you. If you enjoy your free trial, subscribe for continued access. You will be charged $6.99/month for access to the entire Audm catalogue, to which new stories are being added all the time. Payment will be handled through your iTunes account.
Here are most of the news sources that get the audio treatment from Audm.
