Scribd has been developing a small digital magazine catalog in a bid to stay relevant and appeal to a wider audience of users. The company first unveiled the service in November with ten titles such as ; TIME, Fortune, Money, People, Bloomberg Businessweek, Entrepreneur, Foreign Policy, New York Magazine, Newsweek and The Atlantic. The company is starting to see success in this category and has just added seven additional titles.
Starting today you will be able to access The Atlantic, Fast Company, Inc, Mother Jones, Nautilus, Newsweek and Popular Science. You will be able to read the entire magazine or simply check out individual articles that the editors have selected.
One of the great aspects of the new digital magazine initiative is that you can read all of the magazines you want and they do not count against your monthly credit cap. It also saves you money because you do not need to subscribe to a standalone service, such as Texture or Zinio.
