Readme Mobile is all set to be the newest member of the e-reader family in the UK, if everything at Binatone Electronics goes as planned. Binatone already has an e-reader in its product portfolio, the ReadMe Daily, and the ReadMe Mobile will be the second e-reader offering from this electronics maker.
With a sticker price of £129, the Readme Mobile runs Android 2.1 Eclair and comes with a 7 inch color display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The other physical aspects of the e-reader’s front include a Qwerty keyboard and a navigation thumb pad.
On the inside, the Readme Mobile will have a 2 GB internal memory, though there is also an SD card slot in case you need more storage. However, the Readme Mobile can also be a tablet as well, since it includes features such as a web browser, along with an integrated built in video, music, and image player. The device will also provide email access, though all of these features come at a price—battery life, which Binatone has said will be good for only 6 hours.
As for the e-book reader’s availability, there are no specific dates available right now, but Kieran Cahill, product marketing executive at Binatone, said the Readme Mobile “will be available in the next couple of weeks.”

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
