The Nook Color has been around for some time now and has been continually selling well, though only recently it received its first dedicated Twitter app named “Tweek.” There already are a few apps currently available that have been making it possible for Nook Color users to make their noises in the Twitter world, but this is the first app tailored for the Color.
Now what makes the Tweek special is its exclusivity. The app has been designed to work only with one device in the world and that is the Nook Color. The other apps that open up the Twitter world for Nook Color users include Seesmic, which in fact also provides access to the other social networking sites such as Facebook, Google Buzz, and so on, apart from Twitter. Celebrity Tweets is another app, though it will let users access to the latest Twitter post made by over 300 celebs.
Designed by the Tampa based boutique software consultancy firm DIG, the Tweek app allows users to get into doing all the basic stuff that one would expect from Twitter. This includes the ability to post, update, or respond to replies. The app is also conveniently priced at just 99 cents.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
