The Remarkable Writing tablet has been experiencing outages with their send to email functionality that allows users to email documents and PDF files. The company has admitted they disabled email a few days ago and customers were greeted with the error message “Failed to send to [email address]”. Remarkable has just issued a new firmware update that is being pushed out over the air to address the vulnerability and to restore email services.
In a statement the Remarkable said “No other parts of the reMarkable device, apps or features have been impacted, and we remain confident that you may use them without any issue going forward.”
