There has been a “What’s your Tab life? 78910” campaign going round for a while now from Samsung and it seems all of that has to do with a new tablet that the South Korean conglomerate has lined up for a release. The date has been fixed at the 22nd of March while the venue of the planned Samsung event is going to be Orlando, Florida. Clearly, Samsung does not wish to wait until the CTIA trade show gets underway and wants to get start the launch process before the show starts.
While Samsung already has 7 and 10.1 inch tablets, there is going to be another that measures 8.9 inches. Incidentally, this will be the same size as the LG Optimus Tab, which the latter claims is just the right size for a mobile device that consumers prefer. The Apple iPad 2 also made the headlines with its performance credentials and ultra slim profile. However, the iPad 2 will soon have some competition as the new tablet from Samsung will also sport a slim form. With almost complete absence of other details, a recently released teaser image of the upcoming tablet is all that we have to rely on at the moment and from what seems evident, the tablet is going to almost as slim as a headphone jack. If this is indeed true, the iPad 2’s 8.8mm thickness is going to have some competition.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
