Sony has just sent out press invitations for the officially unveiling of the new PRS-T3 e-Reader. The event is happening a few days before IFA in Germany on September 4th. Not much is known about the new device, other then it will have the same type of design as the previous generation PRS-T2. We are hearing reports that it the only differences will be very subtle and most of the changes will be on the software side of things. Likely, we wills enhanced eBook discovery and a revised store experience, two things Sony has put a priority on over the course of the last six months. Once the new e-reader is announced it should hit the retail market on September 19th, as it already has passed FCC certification.
