Amazon Kindle UnlimitedAmazon Kindle Unlimited has a free one month trial and a two month subscription is also free in select countries. In Canada for example, the two month trial costs $.99. When the free trial period is over you are billed a monthly fee, which is around $9.99 per month. Some people do not find value out of Kindle Unlimited, since major publishers do not contribute content to the platform. If you subscribe for a trial, how do you cancel it?
If you wish to cancel your Kindle Unlimited membership, you can navigate to “Your Account and then click on “Your Memberships & Subscriptions” section on the Amazon website. There you’ll find your current plan and payment settings, along with the option to cancel. When you cancel your subscription, during the free trial period, you will still get access to all of your downloadable content, until it runs out.
It is important to note that you have to visit the web version of the Amazon website. You cannot cancel your Prime Membership or Kindle Unlimited trial on an e-reader or within any of the companies apps for Android or iOS.
Amazon is currently the only company that has a line of hardware that has an unlimited program in many different countries. Kobo has an unlimited program, called Kobo Plus, but it is only available in the Netherlands.
