Kobo has a Windows 10 app that is available to many different countries on the Windows Store. You can install on any supported device that has an ARM or x86 processor. This app was designed to give people the ability to read ebooks on their desktop, laptop or 2-1. This app has a serious error right now, that has been ongoing for weeks. If you attempt to login using Facebook, there is an error that prevents the login and password from being recognized and an error page pops up. It says the URL was blocked, because it is not whitelisted. This is basically due to Kobo not updating the Facebook API’s that changed recently and is stopping old Facebook interrogations from working properly.
If users attempt to login with their Kobo account, if they have one, this Windows 10 app will perform normally. This is serious blow to anyone that uses Facebook Connect as an avenue to login to Kobo services, from their website to any of their apps for Android or iOS.
