Amazon has already started shipping the Streak 7 Wi-Fi, something that surprisingly is still “coming soon” at the Dell website. The Wi-Fi only version of the Streak 7 has already gone on sale in the UK last week for £299, which comes to around $488. Price mentioned at the Amazon site is $379.99 and is also offering the option of one day shipping as well.
The Streak 7 includes a dual core 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, but isn’t running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Instead, the tablet is still based on Android 2.2 Froyo with a custom Dell Stage UI built on top of it. However, the Streak 7 still fits the bill for those who are looking for a decent Android tablet at a relatively affordable price.
