We had reported earlier of the ASUS Eee Slate EP121 being up for pre order. And now, here comes the good news, more so if you have already placed your order for the Asus tablet or are aspiring to own one. The Eee Slate EP121 is now shipping and should be seen on store shelves near you soon.
The tablet itself can set right a lot of things that many a Windows 7 tablet have always tried but never could achieve. In fact with a specification and size, the Eee Slate EP121 can well be considered a competitor in the netbook segment and not just tablet PCs.
Like the EP121 has got a massive (by tablet PC standards) 12.1 inches 1280 x 800 pixel capacitive touchscreen display complete with an eletromagnetic panel as well as a stylus that allows for precise input, something that often becomes necessary with Windows 7. It packs a dual-core Intel i5 processor coupled to either a 2 GB or a 4 GB DDR3 RAM along with the option of either a 32GB or 64GB solid state disks.
The tablet also includes a 2 megapixel front facing camera along with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 as well as other convenient features such as 2 USB 2.0 ports, one mini HDMI port, a mic and headphone combo jack, as well as a flash card reader. However, the EP121’s battery life might come as a disappointment as its just a dismal 2.4 to 4.5 hours of run time that the 34Whr battery is able to provide.
The Asus Eee Slate EP121 does not come cheap too at $999 for the 32 GB version and $1099 for 64 GB.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
