Asus has chosen to launch its 10 inch MeMo Pad tablet at a mobile expo in Thailand, belying the general perception that the upcoming Mobile World Congress event in Spain could have made for a more appropriate venue. With that settled, the Memo Pad Smart tablet is now on sale in Thailand for 10,900 baht, which translates to a quite convenient $366 US.
Meanwhile, the tablet’s specs are in line with what was expected. This includes a 1.2 GHz quad core Tegra 3 chip, a 1 GB RAM, and 16 GB of on-board storage. The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will be available in white, blue, and pink.
Below is a short video depicting the tablet in action.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
